BCA-Industry Built Environment Diploma Scholarship / Sponsorship
The Diploma Scholarship / Sponsorship is a partnership between BCA and industry players to offer young people of high calibre an opportunity to take up full-time built environment courses at local Polytechnics and the BCA Academy.
The Scholarship / Sponsorship are structured in two stages. Stage 1 provides financial incentives to students during their diploma study. Stage 2 provides a clear progression path and attractive salary for the student to join the building and construction sector upon his/her graduation. Existing diploma graduates (with less than 3 years of experience in building & construction sector) may also apply to join Stage 2.

To deepen the graduates’ knowledge in their specialised areas, the Scholarship / Sponsorship include a structured On-Job-Training and funded specialist / advanced diploma studies. This creates a progression path for these graduates to become specialists in their field of work.

Eligibility for Students
- Locals (Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents) at entry level to local Polytechnics /
BCA Academy, or in their first year of studies
- Foreigners with GCE 'O' level results / ITE results at entry level to local Polytechnics / BCA Academy
- Foreigners in their first year of studies at the local Polytechnics / BCA Academy
- Outstanding academic results
- Excellent CCA records

Eligibility for Direct Entry into Stage 2
- Locals (Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents)
- Diploma graduates (with less than 3 years of experience in building & construction sector) who are interested to apply for direct entry into Stage 2, please fill in the Stage 2 application form and email to bca_best@bca.gov.sg

How to Apply
Applications are made through the BightSparks system. You will need the following documents:
- Proof of Citizenship (Singaporean , PR or other nationalities)
- GCE 'O' level , Higher NITEC or NITEC results
- Polytechnic / BCA Academy results for first year students
- Polytechnic / BCA Academy course admission letter for new students
- CCA records / Testimonials
